1. Institutional Commitment
Affordify (OpenML Inc.) is built on the principle of data sovereignty. We believe your financial data belongs to you. Our platform acts as a secure conduit, never as a permanent repository for your sensitive bank credentials.
2. Data Acquisition
We use a secure financial data network to securely connect to your financial institutions. Affordify does not store, nor does it have access to, your bank login credentials. We only receive the specific data points required for income verification.
3. Data Retention
By default, verified financial snapshots are stored for 90 days to facilitate the loan application process. Users may purge their data at any time via the Privacy Center.
4. Security Standards
All data is encrypted at rest (AES 256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We maintain SOC2 Type II compliance and undergo regular third party security audits.
